Desain Indonesia, Gaya dan Realitas is a design opinion book written by Agus Sachari in the 1980s. Indonesia has several design-related books, but still--it is hard to find. This is my tribute to graphic design development in Indonesia, by archiving and redesigning the book. This could be illegal, but knowledge has to be widely spread.

Under influences of Futurism brought by Marinetti, Dadaism, and significant design of Irma Boom--the extreme ratio between the length, width, and thickness of the pages. I made this newly made design. Separating the chapters by colors and physical. So, it still can be read comfortably.

In recent times, few projects related to design books are released, such as Further Reading with their Indonesian translated design books. It was showcased last year.

I may be unconsciously inspired by this project.
